BUSTERS STORY: |
|
Jan, 29, 2010:
BUSTER IS
AROUND 9 YEARS OLD. HE WAS A PUPPY WHEN RENE
MOVED TO THE AREA. IT APPEARS THAT BUSTER WAS
ABANDONED AT THE HOUSE AS A PUPPY, BY THE
PREVIOUS OWNER. THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD BUSTER
FOR THE LAST 9 YEARS, ARE NOT ABLE TO LIVE AT
THE HOUSE DUE TO STRUCTURAL CONCERNS, SO THEY
LEFT AROUND SUMMERTIME, AND LEFT BUSTER BEHIND
(AGAIN!).
PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING BUSTER, SO THAT HE
CAN LIVE THE REST OF HIS SENIOR YEARS WITH A
FULFILLED HEART!!!! SAD NEWS TODAY FROM RENE- 2/2/2011: It with GREAT saddness, I must tell you that Buster had to be euthanized this morning...I am so sorry but I just cannot get through a phone call right now... This morning he was acting very very sad - didn't finish his food..kept walking away and sitting down..I just knew something was wrong, even if it was that he was depressed. So I went home, got ready, called a local kennel - having plans of taking him after his check up, at least he would not be alone. Buster was sitting in front of the house when I got back (he has never done that, almost like he was waiting..) he put his head up so that I could slip a collar on him and gave me no problems putting him in the Jeep..he road perfectly calm to the clinic...inside he was just awesome..hanging close to me but not very scared at all. He had advanced heartworms...very advanced and a possible abdominal mass. My vet strongly advised euth. as he might not make it through treatment, and I could not turn him over for someone to have to finacially cover this or have to make this horrible choice. I truly believe that Buster knew... At least he did not have to die alone. My heart ...is broken..Thank you both for trying so hard to help Buster. He was an incredibly tough, kind boy. ~RENE |
