Policy for Courtesy "Petfinder" Listing

(1) The dog or puppies must either be located in the Mountain Home area OR brought to Ozarkdogs so we may evaluate them.
(2)  Must be current on immunizations and preventatives.  (proof of immunizations required).
(3)  Dogs and Puppies over 18 weeks of age must be spayed/neutered.**  Proof of spay is required.  No puppy/dog over 14 weeks will go to a new home without being spayed/neutered.
(4)  Puppies under 14 weeks will require a sterilization contract (and promissory refundable deposit).
(5)  Puppies of un-spayed bitches will not be accepted.  Owner must spay the mother dog within 1 week of Ozarkdogs posting the courtesy listing and present proof or the listing will be withdrawn.**
(6)  Dogs over 6 months will be required to have a current 'snap' test for heartworm, ehrlichia & lyme disease.

Ozarkdogs does not require a fee for this service.  Those using this service may request an adoption fee for their animal up to the amount of reimbursement for vet expenses directly related to the animal listed.  This does not include the expense of the mother being spayed in the case of puppies being listed.
