Grace updates from her forever home
8/19/09: I just thought I would drop you a line to let you
that Grace is the best dog in the world. She sleeps with me every
night and wakes me up about 7 am if I am not up by then with a wet
nose in my eye, she has got to be the sweetest dog I have ever had.
She spends her days in the house with me and follows me where ever I
go and keeps an eye on me at all times. She is eating well and lets
me know if anyone or any thing is around with that deep bark of
hers. All of my guest have fallen in love with her too. My
grandchildren really do like her a lot and she is very good with
them too.
I am looking forward to cool weather as I know she is going to
really like it when it is a little cooler up here and she can play
without getting too hot.
I hope the other dogs are finding good homes. I wish the best for
all of them and would take them my self if I could. Thank you again
for taking care of Grace until I found her. I love her very much.
Talk to you again soon and will try to get you a picture of her
soon. Paula

8/10/09: I thought I would
let you know that Grace decided she wanted to sleep with me in
my bed last night about 11 pm. She sure does take her space
right out of the middle of the bed. She will be great this
winter as she is very warm when she snuggles up to your back.
She is getting spoiled a little bit. Paula

8/08/09: Grace is doing great.. She did dig out under the gate in
the back yard yesterday, but came right back to me when I saw her and I
think I have the problem area fixed as she has not escaped today. We
have our time every afternoon to sit on the back deck and she get
brushed and then she spends the night in the house. She has decided the
love seat in the living room makes a great bed, as that is where she
sleeps every night. It has a sheet on it now and it is her place now.
She still is not eating as much as would have thought, but I have
started mixing a can of food with the dry every morning and she seems to
like that a lot.
So far she is greeting my guest as they check in very well and
everyone thinks she is beautiful. She seems very happy. The sad eyes
only show up when she does not get what she wants. She is everyone
thinks she is beautiful. She seems very happy. The sad eyes only
show up when she does not get what she wants. She is a very good
girl and I am so thankful to have her here with me. I will try to
get some pictures of her and send them to you this next week. Talk
to you soon, Paula

| Grace is a social girl who loves greeting new people. She
has resided at a retreat camp and greets all the visitors with a happy
'welcome'. She is great with children, cats and other dogs. Because
she is typical Pyrenees, she tends to expand her territory and this became
a problem since she was wandering onto government forestry land.
She has settled well into her new surroundings. She has not yet ventured into the house, but enjoys laying on the deck or out under a shade tree. She does come when she sees you and enjoys the attention. Grace is a companion dog and not a field dog. She is 2 years old
and 90 pounds. She is spayed & UTD on immunizations and
preventatives. |
