Kwin |
| Kwin is no longer here, but she is up for adoption and I still
need donations for the $130 I spend on her. 8/20/11: Kwin is already showing good improvement. The backbone still protrudes and her haunches, but her rib lines are beginning to fade. I'm feeding 3 times a day and she has been wormed. I'm gradually adding in a richer diet as too much too fast might upset her tummy. Also doing antibiotics for the wounds. That wire wound is raw flesh. Cruelty case in Arkansas. 41 counts. Rescues got 24 hour notice to save surviving dogs including this one. http://www.abc24.com/news/local/story/Crittenden-Co-Couple-Charged-With-Animal-Cruelty/RwtJWTYDXkGHTsk5Mqbbyw.cspx 8/18/11: I named her Kwin. I doubt these people bothered to name her and if they did, well, she needs a new name for a fresh start. Of the 3 German Shepherds, she is in the best shape, which is saying very little. They are all terribly small. I imagine it was not genetics but such poor care that accounts for their small size. Kwin is trusting and really wants to be near people. She gets along with other dogs. She is very sweet despite what she has endured. |
| Kwins initial vet bill was $130. I have received $28 in donations for her so anything towards the balance would be greatly appreciated. |
