Criteria for owning a dog:  Find the humor in everything and

KEEP SMILING

Ever wonder how many geese got plucked for a king size goose down pillow?  How about how many little feathers are in one of those pillows?  Well, I have the answer; only half as many as their are in TWO.

Normally Bear and Sasha are good fur kids.  After all, they outgrew the terrible 2's a long time ago.  I guess we have arrived at the onset of the terrible pre-teen stage where slumber parties and pillow fights are to be expected.....but from DOGS????

And Mr. DYSON, you are WRONG when you say your "Animal" vacuum will not lose suction.  I can guarantee you, it may be an animal, but when it comes to plucking goose feathers off the floor, it is a total failure.

Remember those bargain $6.88 wading pools I bought for the dogs from Wal-mart a few weeks ago?  The first day they played wildly and were soaking wet.  The  pools have went untouched since..... until this morning.

Katey decided I needed help cleaning the house this morning.  When I went to bed last night, I had not thought I was doing all that bad a job.  Katey had a different idea.  After she finished her breakfast, she went and took a bath.  This was all while I was in the bedroom changing sheets for the umpteenth time this week. (dog hair, you know).  When I came into the kitchen, my bare feet became very wet.  Walking further, into the living room, my feet squished in the near new carpet.  Katey had very obligingly provided all the water necessary so I could mop the kitchen floor and steam clean the living room and dining room carpets.  She was very good to remind me also, that I had been neglecting to clean the leather sofa for some time.

She was so proud of herself, she even graced my clean clothes with her wet sides in loving affection and request for praise. She got a cookie (bribe) and put outside.  She looked somewhat dejected because I no longer desired her help.  She did get a pat of praise.  After all, if it were not for dogs, we might all become lazy and lax in our house cleaning.
